My bio says I’m a BuddyTV Writer with an MBA in marketing and an undergraduate in writing and foreign language. It also says that I spend my time writing, tweeting, aggressively pursuing new social media strategies, writing, and co-parenting twins with my husband. All at the same time. Oh, and writing. Yes, writing.
That is an accurate description. But who, really, am I? Funny you should ask. I’ve been asking myself that question for more than four decades.
Primarily, I am an observer. A questioner. A seeker. A thinker. A sinner. A writer. A disappointment to some, a comfort to others. A mother. A wife. A daughter. A child of God. A dreamer.
I write because I have to. There is hardly another thing on this earth I’d rather be doing. I do not always know why I’m writing, but I do know that it’s what I was made to do. It may never bring me fame and fortune, but those things don’t matter anyway. What I really want is love. And to make my family proud of my accomplishments. I want to know who I am so that I can be a better friend, mother, wife. And I want everything to be okay in the end.

This Is How I Try To Live My Life:
I derive great comfort and try to live according to the advice of Mother Teresa of Calcutta:
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
This Is My Dream:
I want to make a living writing fiction and be known for being extraordinarily good at what I do. I want to stand on a stage and read from my work to an audience full of fans. I want to have a beach house on the ocean where my backyard is sand and waves
My current magnum opus is “The When and the How: A Bone To Pick” http://bit.ly/BONESFic
